I joined MEFL in August 2018 as Project Coordinator in the major projects team. My role is across our two state government funded research programs, the Victorian Healthy Homes Program and EnergySmart Public Housing Project. These projects are delivering energy appliance and thermal upgrades to over two thousand homes across Victoria. My role is focused on delivery of the installations where I work closely with delivery partners and subcontractors to develop and implement our project plans and manage the installations.
I bring to MEFL a background in project management and social enterprise. My previous roles have included project manager delivering commercial and industrial construction projects, consulting for World Vision and RTI Indonesia on youth employment and designing and building a social enterprise hotel in Cambodia.
When I’m not working: I like to stay fit, but never too fit. So I’m usually finely balancing my time between a powerlifting gym and some of Melbourne’s best and worst pubs.
I love working at MEFL because: It’s so satisfying to hear from one of our participants that they won’t be going to bed early any more just to keep themselves warm.
