 Why choose an electric bike?

There are huge savings to be made - both financially and environmentally if you swap your car for an electric bike.

If you make a 10km round trip each weekday throughout the year - ride the Easybike instead of driving a small car you stand to save at least $300 in fuel expenses and 280kg of greenhouse emissions per year.  (for the assumptions on this conservative calculation see the information kit

And - if you charge your Easybike battery with 100% Greenpower or have solar electricity at your home, you'll be travelling emission free!

  • A bunch of 'light weight' extras
