Moreland Solar City recruitment has begun

We are looking for 6 people to join the MEFL team in a range of newly created positions.

We are excited to announce that the Moreland Solar City initiative has been fully funded and will commence immediately. The Australian Government will provide $4.9 million as part of a $10 million package to initiate a range of specific and practical programs in the City of Moreland. As a direct result of the resources provided by the Federal Government, the State Government, Moreland City Council and the Brotherhood of St Laurence:

Also, with a focus on central Coburg, Moreland Solar City will develop and deliver small-scale distributed power generation, large scale energy efficiency, environmentally sustainable building designs, low energy use and low impact construction on a scale not seen in Melbourne before. It is set to become a national and international example of how urban development can meet the challenges of a carbon constrained future.

Moreland Energy Foundation is currently recruiting a number of key sustainability-based roles.
