ZCM Window insulation offer

3m window insulator kitDue to the popularity of the offer, we have run out of stock (already!) but we will be ordering more stock from the US.

Please note there is a change in price as we are unable to subsidise further kits and will be selling the kits at the cost price of $12 (saving you international postage).

Want double glazed windows but can’t afford it? Are you living in a cold rental property? ZCM’s Window Insulation Film offer will help you prepare for winter and it's only $12.

Up to one-third of the heat lost in homes is through poorly protected windows.

Window insulation film is a cheap and effective DIY substitute for double glazing, and is perfect for renters. It's a totally transparent, heat shrink material which you attach to your window frame and then shrink to fit with a hair dryer. Watch MEFL’s window insulation video to see how easy it is to install.

You must live in Moreland and be a Zero Carbon Moreland participant to get this special subsidised offer. You can sign up to ZCM for free when you make your order – so tell your friends.

There is a limit of three double packs per order if you want the products posted to you, or if you can pick them up from the MEFL office, there is no limit to the number of packs you can order.

Order your window insulation film online for just $12 for a double pack (+ $6.60 postage), or drop into the Moreland Energy Foundation at level 1, 233 Sydney Road, Brunswick and save on the postage fee (Similar products retails for $27.50 per single pack). MEFL is open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Call MEFL on 9385 8585 or email Zero Carbon Moreland if you have any further questions.

Greening Moreland forum

Acting together for a more sustainable neighbourhoodslf

Moreland is lucky to have broad range of residents and community groups actively working to make our neighbourhood more sustainable and a better place to live. In fact, there's so much going on sometimes it's hard to keep up and make sure we're working effectively together. Greening Moreland Forum has taken steps to change that...

Zero Carbon Moreland presented a free event for Moreland residents, community groups, organisations and local businesses interested in sustainability, the environment and living well. We invited Morelanders to come together, tell us what you’re working on, explore what else is happening locally, discuss what we still need to do and how we can do it together.

Participants also had an opportunity to test ride electric bikes, and get sustainability advice from the Moreland Energy Foundation team, and then wind down with a free BBQ lunch!

Greening Moreland Forum was held in February 2012 as a satellite event of the Sustainable Living Festival.
